openHAB 2.1 – Neues Level für die Smart-Home-Steuerung / Hausautomation
Die Softwarelösung openHAB hilft dabei, eine der wichtigsten Herausforderungen in einem zeitgemäßen Smart Home zu meistern: Sie versucht, Brücken zwischen den einzelnen Systemen zu spannen. Die unabhängige Plattform ermöglicht die Verbindung einer Vielzahl von Geräten – unabhängig vom Hersteller und den zur Datenübermittlung verwendeten Funkprotokollen. Bislang erforderte dies ein gewisses Engagement bei den Nutzern der Open-Source-Lösung. Mit dem Release von openHAB 2.0, gleichzeitig die erste offizielle Version aus dem Eclipse SmartHome Project, steht neben der Integration von neuen Technologien auch die Benutzerfreundlichkeit im Vordergrund. Die Konfiguration kann nun komplett über eine grafische Bedienoberfläche durchgeführt werden.
